Three ingredient Christmas cranberry sauce. No prep, 10 minutes and you’ve got a turkey-worthy side dish.
When cranberry sauce is this quick and easy to make, why bother with the canned stuff. This is so much better, I PROMSE.
All you need is a bag of fresh cranberries (frozen works too), a cup of water and a cup of sugar. Bring them to a boil, and let boil for 5 to 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
Pour right into a ceramic serving bowl, cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours, giving it some time to set.
This holiday side dish is perfect for making ahead of time. I’ll often make it the day before, or even a week or two before a turkey feast and pop it into the freezer.
What sides will you be serving with your turkey this year? Personally I like my turkey smothered in gravy and this delicious cranberry sauce. The best of both worlds.
Happy holiday feasting!
